On September 19, 2019 ECO held its 3rd student council elections. 

Shadae Herrera-Robinson, the newly elected president is a senior at ECO High School. She has been a student at the school since its inception. She along with Jorge Ruiz (Vice President), Melanie Gallegos (Secretary), Karlena Gonzales (Treasurer) and Joseph Vela (Social Media Coordinator) will be leading the school toward student-centered and activity-based events. As Shadae stated in her election speech, "I would like to start a new ECO tradition that will not only make this one of the best school years, but also create memories you won't forget".
